LexiMeld is voice dictation for Windows: what you say becomes ready text and lands where your cursor is — in Word, email, chat or the browser. This guide takes you from installation to troubleshooting.

1. Installation

1. Download the installer from the download section (Windows 10 and 11).
2. Run it. If Windows shows the blue “Windows protected your PC” window, click More info, then Run anyway. The app is signed (publisher: 1i2s E-Commerce LLC); the warning appears only because it is still new.
3. If nothing happens when you click the installer, check your antivirus (e.g. Avast, AVG) notifications or quarantine, allow LexiMeld, and run it again.

2. First start

• You accept the terms of use and the privacy policy.
• You choose: a 7-day free trial (no registration, no credit card) or subscribe right away.
• If you have a dedicated graphics card, you can also download the on-PC AI (about 8 GB). It is needed for Privacy mode, and you can turn it on later in Settings too.
• The interactive demo shows the basics; you can restart it from the tray menu at any time.

3. Dictating

1. Click into a text field in any app (Word, Outlook, Teams, Messenger, a browser).
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+Space (or the start button on the control panel) and speak naturally.
3. Press Ctrl+Shift+Space again: LexiMeld processes the recording and pastes the finished text at the cursor.

You can speak for up to 15 minutes in one go. You can change language, mode and style while recording: the setting at the moment processing starts is what counts.

4. Language, translation and style

On the left side of the control panel you choose the input:

• Hungarian dictation — you speak Hungarian and get Hungarian text.
• English dictation — you speak English and get English text.
• Hungarian–English translation — you speak Hungarian and English text lands at the cursor.

On the right side you choose the style:

• Pen — original: the raw transcript, as you said it.
• Smiley — friendly: your words tidied up, in a natural tone.
• Briefcase — business: polite, clear, formal wording.

6. Redo the last recording

If you dictated in the wrong language, mode or style, you do not need to say it again. Press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+R, set what you want on the control panel, and click the ↺ button. If you select the wrong text first, the new text replaces it. The last recording is kept on your PC for 24 hours (you can turn this off in Settings).

7. Result panel and personal dictionary

• The result panel (Ctrl+Shift+Alt+P, or tray → Dictation result) shows the last text.
• Add names and special terms the app rarely gets right to your personal dictionary; from then on they are spelled correctly. It is available from the result panel, the tray menu and with Ctrl+Shift+Alt+D.

8. Privacy mode

Turn it on with the lock icon on the left side of the control panel. Processing then runs on your PC, and your voice and text do not go online. Details and requirements: Privacy mode.

9. Control panel and tray menu

• Pin the control panel on screen with the pin icon, or hide it; click the LexiMeld icon on the Windows taskbar to park it and bring it back.
• Set its size in Settings under Overlay size (automatic, or 70–130%).
• Right-click the tray icon (next to the clock) for: Settings, Dictation result, Redo last recording, Personal dictionary, Usage tips, Interactive demo, Refer a friend, Check for updates, Exit.
• In Settings you can turn off automatic pasting: the text then waits for you in the result panel and on the clipboard.

10. Subscription and cancelling

• After the 7-day trial you subscribe in the app, monthly or yearly (prices on the home page).
• Cancel anytime in Settings or in the Stripe customer portal; there is no long-term commitment.
• The app checks your subscription online at start and from time to time while running. Without internet it keeps working locally for up to 3 days.

11. Refer a friend and rating

• Refer a friend: your own link is in the tray Refer a friend menu or in Settings. If two people subscribe with it and use LexiMeld for at least 30 days, you get an extra month.
• Rating: as a subscriber you can give 1–5 stars and a short text once, under Settings → Help & Feedback → Rate LexiMeld.

12. Help and troubleshooting

• Bug report or request: Settings → Support → Help & Feedback. For bugs, attach a screenshot; the reply arrives in the app or by email. Email: info@leximeld.app.
• Support ID: shown at the bottom of Settings (LXM-…); include it when you contact us.
• Recording does not start: check the Windows microphone permission and that the right microphone is selected.
• Text is not inserted: click into the target field before dictating; if automatic pasting is off, the text is on the clipboard (Ctrl+V), or use Ctrl+Shift+Alt+V.
• The installer does not start: see above, the antivirus quarantine.
